Description
For sale here is a stunning one boxed EMI very first UK pressing of Pink Floyds 1969 film soundtrack album "More".
This is the very first UK issue denoted by the single EMI box on the labels, couple facing left on the green tinted rear of the cover, matrices of A-1G and B-1G. This also has the very first mothers to both sides-1 and the very first stampers to both sides-G. This puts this album in the first 500 ever pressed. A sure sign of sound quality. The vinyl itself is in a superb condition, the cover and inner sleeve are both in great shape, and a true heavyweight chunk of vinyl.
Below I will give a brief description of the condition of each part, vinyl, cover, and inner sleeve.
Please note that I do not have a turntable to make an audio grading of the album, but have a lot of experience of vinyl and have a good idea of how to grade by visual assessment. In the event of a vinyl being not as described, I do accept returns for a full refund.
COVER:-
Correct laminated single fold. No wear to top or bottom edges and the pinched spine is faultless too. There are a couple of light creases in the laminate, but hardly worthy of mention. The rear flip-back is in great condition and overall a lovely clean example. Safely graded as excellent. (Ex).
INNER SLEEVE:-
Inner sleeve sepia coloured, advertising other albums of the era. Lightly age discoloured with some light creasing, but still a very nice example. No slit damage from the disc itself. Very solid. Graded as VG+.
VINYL:-
The vinyl is in stunning condition. A deep black sheen. Not a mark worthy of note to be fair. A great example. The mothers and stampers for side one are 1/G and for side two are 1/G, so the very earliest copy it is possible to find. Clean labels so all graded an easy Ex.
So that is everything. The earliest possible copy you can find of this UK pressing. Only graded visually. I believe you will not find a better copy of this highly regarded album anywhere at any price.

I do not profit on postage. I charge what it costs me (often less!). I try to use recycled packaging and I remove vinyl from sleeve for transit. All vinyl will be supplied in a new anti-static sleeve, and each cover in a new heavyweight polythene cover.
I am very experienced in grading and posting vinyl. If anything is not as described I accept returns, no questions asked.
