Massively rare 1968 UK 1st pressing COLUMBIA blue/black Mono LP SX 6258
MATRIX No.s: XAX 3633-1 / XAX 3634-1 VINYL IN GOOD CONDITION
SLEEVE IN GOOD+ CONDITION
This record is well below the usual condition of records I offer for sale, but I am offering it for sale simply because I know there are so many collectors who have been trying to add a copy to their collection for so long. Mono first pressings of this album figure in most people's "wants" lists, and althoug this copy displays extensive wear, it nevertheless plays right through without major issues, no jumps/skips etc. It's a collection-filler, but I'm sure many people would appreciate it as a "first step" towards their ultimate copy (incidentally I have a great copy in my shop!). So the vinyl displays many surface marks, some scratches, but, as I mentioned, it plays through with no problems. The labels are very respectable, too! The sleeve has some ringwear, some wear along the opening edge, a glue-repaired split to the upper edge, and some creases along the spine, but is still solid, and respectable enough. So, in brief, not the best copy you'll ever see by a long way, but it's a respectable-playing 1st pressing MONO, and I'm sure someone will appreciate it for that!

On 17-Mar-07 at 10:19:23 GMT, seller added the following information:After several questions, I would just like to add to the item description that I played this again the other day, and despite the visual wear to the disc, the record plays very well, with no major problems, light surface noise in the quietest areas, occasional clicks, but no skips/jumps, and it was actually an enjoyable listen.
