Label: COLUMBIA / EMI ~ 072-04 190. Stereo pressing on medium weight vinyl. Black label with silver text.
Year: 1973.

Condition:
DISC: NEAR MINT with 100% of original gloss, as clean as can be found. Looks and sounds unplayed – no sign of ever having been on a turntable. Labels are pristine with no spindle trail marks. Fidelity is superb. A solid “10” out of 10.
JACKET: Jacket is NEAR MINT in original factory shrink wrap. Flawless front and back panels. Excellent seams and corners. Import “Jem Records” sticker and original Waxie Maxie’s retail sticker are affixed to front shrink wrap. A beauty for the mint fanatic!

“A transitional album on which the band moved from Syd Barrett's relatively concise and vivid songs to spacy, ethereal material with lengthy instrumental passages. Barrett's influence is still felt (he actually did manage to contribute one track, the jovial "Jugband Blues"), and much of the material retains a gentle, fairy-tale ambience. "Remember a Day" and "See Saw" are highlights; on "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun," "Let There Be More Light," and the lengthy instrumental title track, the band begin to map out the dark and repetitive pulses that would characterize their next few records.”
