Description
For sale here is an absolutely stunning copy of Floyds special limited edition album released in 1987 "A momentary lapse of reason".
This is a very special album indeed in many ways. This was a very limited special edition. It comes with a wrap-around poster, which covers the majority of the front face of the cover and part of the rear face. Also a large fold out poster of the band live on stage with laser show. Because this was a limited special edition, it also had a guaranteed ticket application form inside, which promised anyone who applied would definitely get a ticket for one of Floyds gigs at either Wembley stadium or Maine Road Manchester the following year.
This has been play-graded in full, details below.
The cover is in outstanding condition. There is NO shelf-wear to any edges or spine. No marks or stains present anywhere. Just a really really spot on example. (Ex+).
The inner sleeve is the same. No marks, stains or creasing. No slits or rips. (Ex+).
The vinyl surfaces are just beautiful. Faultless. There are a couple of light wispy sleeve removal marks (damn those cardboard inners) but this has been swapped into a brand new anti-static inner sleeve. (Ex+).
The play-grade. This is a truly outstanding audio performance. I am being 100% honest when I say the following:- Both sides start with SILENT run-ins. There is silence in all between track segues. There are NO clicks, pops, sticks, skips, rustle, static or anything. This entire album plays with amazing clarity and detail and silently in all of the quiet passages. It is stunning. (Ex+).
Both posters are in superb undamaged condition, and like new. (Ex+). The ticket application form is also absolutely as new. (Ex+). The cork backed coaster that I am including is totally unused and mint. (M).
These very seldom come up for sale. The ones that do often have damaged posters, missing posters or application form. To find one with every extra included and in superb condition is rare plus. The coaster depicting the iconic cover artwork is a nice bonus.
