This auction is for a rare picture disc version of the classic Pink Floyd album, The Dark Side of the Moon.

It is an American released version from 1978, with the die cut outer sleeve.  

I have owned this album from new and it has hardly been played, but please note that the sound quality with these early picture discs is far inferior to the regular vinyl versions (which is why I hardly played it). There are also some surface marks on the vinyl, which were there from new.

The outer sleeve is in good condition and has the usual perforation in the top right corner, that seemed to be done to all imported vinyl back in the day (but I have no idea why?). The clear inner sleeve also has some marks on it.     

 

Over the last 40+ years I have built up a very large collection of Records, CD's, rock memorabilia and other items, but now sadly I am having to sell the majority of it.

 

Over the next few months I will therefore be selling loads of great Records, CD's, T Shirts, Badges, Patches, Programme's etc so do keep any eye on my other items for sale and also my upcoming auctions.  

 

The album will be securely packaged in a purpose built cardboard box, to ensure it is not damaged in transit. 

 

This is a very rare original record, but it is here to be sold and I am selling with NO RESERVE PRICE and a low starting price, so someone could get a bargain.
