THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON A3/B3
This very early A3/B3 pressing of The Dark Side of the Moon is in excellent condition for its age as my gradings below state. It comes complete with the black gatefold not the 'midnight blue' one and the two posters and stickers.

Visual grading
Under bright daylight there are numerous faint hairlines to be seen although no scratches. Yes you can see it has been played a number of times due to the spindle wear on the labels but I was pleasantly surprised by the audio on this rare early pressing.
Play grading
Side One overall plays to an excellent standard with very little interference. There is a some static/crackle at the beginning of ''Speak To Me' but this very soon dissipates. 'On The Run' has excellent audio with just a couple of pops. 'Time' plays wonderfully well with only slight static, a great listen. 'Great Gig...' has only light static at the start and then plays fantastically well with a great depth of sound, plays very loudly! These A3/B3 pressings are known to have first class audio and whilst there is a little background noise this side plays extremely well with no skips or jumps.
'Money' has faint crackle at the beginning and then plays with superb loud audio with a hint of intermittent static. The sound here reverberates so well and again proves how well these A3/B3 pressings play. 'Us and Them' plays very well with a little crackle here and there. 'Any Colour You Like' has stunning audio with almost no background noise and 'Brain Damage' continues in the same way with just a hint off static. 'Eclipse' plays very well with minimal interference, just some distortion in the second half, very common on this LP where the grooves of the final track are pressed closer together in order to 'fit' it onto the side.
Gatefold cover
The original Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold does have some shelf wear but remains in overall very good condition. There is some rubbing to all the corners and to the spine and some light creasing but there are no marks or any writing. The opening edge on the back cover does have a small tear with some creasing around the area also. As can be seen it has the sticker on the front cover and is in excellent condition. So whilst there is some shelf wear it is more than acceptable and is certainly not ruined like so many copies from the early 70s! The opening edge actually only has a little handling wear.
Inner sleeve
The vinyl is contained within a black die cut polylined sleeve and is in excellent condition with no splits or tears.
Labels
The labels are in excellent condition with some spindle wear but no markings.
Posters and Stickers
The two glossy posters are in superb condition with no rips or tears. The stickers have some creasing although the backing is plain white so I doubt if these are the originals.
Play tested on my Technics SL-J110R turntable system
