Description
THE DIVISION BELL
On offer here is the more recent USA reissue of The Division Bell and is pressed on marbled blue vinyl. This one in particular is pressed on a brighter shade of blue and is stunning to the eye, the photos probably do not do it justice! I purchased this from new and has only been played the once to play grade it. Under a strong bright light there are no hairlines at all as you would expect. The audio does not disappoint!
Play grading
Side One plays superbly well with great depth and clarity and for a bootleg the audio plays to a high standard absolute minor static. For such a quiet track 'Cluster One' has wonderful audio with almost no interference. There are 4/5 light clicks at the five at the start of 'Wearing The Inside Out'. This final track doesn't play with quite the same resonance and depth as the grooves were pressed closer together in order to fit it onto the side.
Side Two has great audio with almost no interference. Perhaps there is the mildest hint of static in a couple of places but you expect that. Of course being pressed on coloured vinyl and a bootleg you cannot expect the same high end quality although this LP overall plays with excellent clarity. There are no skips or jumps obviously. On both sides there is complete silence between tracks.
Gatefold cover
The gatefold is in wonderful condition and is Mint in every way. The edges and corners are in superb order and it retains a strong wide spine. Produced on thick card it has a lovely glossy finish. No faults whatsoever!
Lyric inner
The lyric inner (on a single sheet) is in near perfect condition apart from a small amount of light spotting that you can only see under a certain light.

ALL RECORDS ARE PROFESSIONALLY PACKED IN STRONG MAILERS WITH CARDBOARD STIFFENERS. THE RECORDS ARE ALSO REMOVED FROM THEIR SLEEVES TO AVOID CUTTING THROUGH THE COVER AND PUT INTO A SEPARATE SLEEVE, AND THEN PLACED INSIDE A PVC SLEEVE.
