Sides 3 and 4 recorded in Birmingham 11th Feburary 1970.
This is the 2nd in a series of six double reocrds which chronicle the progression of Pink Floyds career from their early beginnings up to the present day.
The material here was recorded between 1969 and 1971 and represents their first work in movie scores.
Side 4 "the violent sequence" is an early attempt to organise the improvisations they had been playing live upto this point.
VOLUME TWO - INTERSTELLAR OVERDRIVE, THE MATERIAL HERE WAS RECORDED BETWEEN 1969 & 1971 AND REPRESENTS THEIR FIRST WORK IN MOVIE SCORES. SIDE FOUR "THE VIOLENT SEQUENCE" IS AN EARLY ATTEMPT TO ORGANISE THE IMPROVISATIONS THEY HAD BEEN PLAYING LIVE UP TO THIS POINT. INCLUDES 9 TRACKS INCLUDING ONEONE, FINGALS CAVE, RAIN IN THE COUNTRY AND THE VIOLENT SEQUENCE.
