PINK FLOYD. THE WALL A2/B2/A1/B2. Superb copy with a host of extras included.

For sale here is a super copy of Pink Floyds iconic album "THE WALL" from 1979. Comes with all the attributes of an original first UK pressing.
1. Cover made from a single sheet of cardboard. 2. bricks not fully aligned to bottom edge, inside and out. 3. Uncorrected credits inside gatefold cover. 4. 9" thumb notches on both inner sleeves with tan interior. 5. and of course the incredibly early matrices A2 B2 A1 B2.
This is a quite lovely example of this iconic and highly collectable album and has the remarkably early matrices, as previously mentioned.. It is unusual to find a copy with the vinyl in exceptional condition like this one. The only real signs of it being played is the odd light spindle mark to the labels.  No marks on the vinyl worthy of note. I am including some lovely extras with this lot. I will give a detailed description of each part below.
The cover:                  Original and genuine creamy coloured gatefold cover. Comes with the elusive vinyl hype patch (loose, not stuck down). The cover is extremely clean and has no damage or marks worthy of note. There is NO shelf-wear to any edges or the spine. To be really picky, there is the very tiniest hint of some age discolouration at the opening edges (if you look very carefully!). An extremely well cared for example indeed. I grade this cover as a very strong excellent (Ex).
Inner sleeves:                      Really nice examples of these inners. Beautifully clean and undamaged. NO marks or damage of ANY kind. NO slits from the disc to any edges. Perfect.  I grade both of the inner sleeves as a strong excellent plus (Ex+).
Hype patch:                    The vinyl hype patch with "Pink Floyd The Wall" text in in great shape. No marks, slits or nicks. Has some light "cloudiness" to it, which I would expect to wipe off with a damp cloth. I grade the hype patch as near excellent (Ex-). 
The labels:                  The iconic labels are pretty much pristine. Quite simply, I cannot see a single spindle trail to any of the 4 labels. They look unplayed, or at the very least, very carefully put onto the turntable platter. I grade the labels as a very strong Ex+.
The vinyl:                Really the vinyl is the cream of this copy. Visually I can see NO marks of note of any kind aside of a couple of wispy sleeve removal hairlines. The vinyl has a wonderful depth of shine and a gorgeous black lustre. As good a copy as you could ever hope to find in my opinion. As this is a visual appraisal,   I grade as a solid excellent plus (Ex+).
PLAY-GRADING:-                    The audio on this copy is fantastic. It is extremely close to being without fault. I made the following comments in my play-grade notebook:- Side one:               Some minor static to the first 10 seconds of play. 5 very soft "ticks during the last track. The rest of the side plays superbly. Grades a very strong Ex. Side two:               The whole side plays without issues of any kind. A very strong Ex+. Side three:                  Again, starts with some light static during the first 10 seconds. Apart from that the whole side plays without any further issues at all. A very strong Ex. Side four:                The whole side plays without issues of any kind. A very strong Ex+.
The sound throughout is dynamic and vibrant. Clarity and detail are sensational. This is an incredible sounding album and would grace any collection.
As a complete and original first UK pressing with the A2 / B2 / A1 / B2 matrix numbers and hype sticker, all in superb condition, I really have to grade overall as at the very least excellent. Somebody is going to be very happy!!
The limited edition DVD of the film of the same name was released to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the films release. As well as the full length film, the DVD contains an exclusive documentary on the making of the film alongside many interviews. Finally, this is the edition that contains the fold-out poster. This DVD is still fully sealed in the manufacturers original shrink-wrap. MINT.
The decorative wall art disc is brand new and mint. Please please note that there is no spindle hole to the vinyl disc. IT IS NOT TO BE PLAYED, so please do not try. It is purely decorative, but a great item nonetheless.
The gel pen depicting some of the iconic artwork is brand new, mint.
The 45rpm 7" single ("Another brick in the wall part 2" / "One of my turns") is in good condition but my turntable does not play 45's, so I cannot vouch for the sound quality.
So, a quite lovely original and genuine UK first pressing. The matrices are the 2nd earliest ever recorded. Nothing switched from later copies. Superb condition with outstanding sound quality. Throw in all the extra items and this is a must-have!!

I DO NOT make anything on the postage. I charge the exact cost (often less) that I pay. I DO NOT charge for packing materials and I try to use recycled packing anyway. If the postage cost is less than my quoted figures, I will refund the excess as soon as I have the exact price. I also dress all my albums in a brand new heavyweight plastic cover and a brand new anti-static inner sleeve. All vinyl is packed outside of the cover and 2 stiffeners are used in transit. I have sold many valuable vinyls over the years and am often credited with Fort Knox style packing. Please bid with peace of mind that what you see is what you get.
