A NEW TAX YEAR, A NEW SELLING SPREE FOR A HUGE PINK FLOYD COLLECTION. THE COLLECTION CONTAINS MANY UK 1st PRESSES (INCLUDING 4 EXCELLENT A2/B2 COPIES OF DARK SIDE WITH THE SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE LABELS. For sale here is a genuine UK first pressing of the bands iconic 1979 release entitled "The wall". This has the sought after hype sticker included. As well as a really outstanding audio example, the cover and inners are pretty much perfect, except for some light age discolouration. Included in the sale are an absolute host of desirable extras. These include a genuine 1979 tour programme in excellent condition. A limited edition DVD of the film including large poster. A book detailing the making of the film as well as great information on the era and band. A brilliant read. 4 postcards relating to the wall are included, great artwork. Also a brand new gel pen with wall logos and a coaster depicting one of the album labels.
This is a quite stunning collection and each part compliments each other and has been thoughtfully put together to make a quite rare collection.
So, the most important component. The album itself. The cover is great. No shelf-wear to any edge or spine. Edges and corners are sharp. The only thing worth a mention is that mild age discolouration. These cream coloured covers are so prone to this little issue. Inner sleeves are great examples. Very clean. Just on one side edge of each there is a small area where the card is thinning due to the edge of the disc. This has not cut through, but held to a light you can see it has thinned. The vinyl itself, all 4 sides are superb. No marks worthy of mention. I have played sides 1 and 2 to get a feel for the sound quality, and as side 2 was slightly less gleaming than the others, I played it to make sure all was good. It was. The album played with almost total silence in the quiet passages. Very detailed. Some of the sound effects come across in an amazing way and are hugely impressive. I could not fault the audio at all. Over the 2 sides I played my only comments were 3 "dust pops" where a small particle of dust has nestled in the groove. These pretty much always either play out, or clean out. The audio gets my highest grade for a used album, which is excellent plus.

I am happy to post worldwide with the exception of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. I accept returns without quibble if not as described and would pay return postage for that. If returned for any other reason, buyer pays return but I will still accept it back. Postage price guide for the European Union is in the region of £16, tracked and signed for. Rest of the world is around £25, tracked and signed for. If it costs less, I refund the excess in full. Immediately. I DO NOT AND WILL NOT EVER TRY TO PROFIT ON POSTAGE. Packaging is at my cost, not yours. My packaging is extremely robust as my feedback will confirm.
