Description
Here's one of the Audiophile Holy Grails for Floyd collectors, along with two other very desirable lps.
Pink Floyd, The Wall, CBS H2C 46183, Mastersound Half Speed Master. Includes the lyric insert and the original sticker from the front of the outer plastic sleeve. This one has been stored and will be shipped in a resealable Japanese mylar sleeve. The cover shows no wear at all, and the discs are perfect. Even during the quiet beginning of Hey You there is no surface noise. It's not sealed, and it has been played, so I'm rating it mint minus, but there are no flaws. Super sound.The Division Bell, US Columbia 7464 64200 1, with custom inner sleeve. Stored in and will be shipped in a Mobile Fidelity Rice Paper inner sleeve. Cover is EX+ to NM, with 2 small dings to the corners on the spine side. The disc is like new, but again it's been played, so mint minus.
Roger Waters, The Wall Live in Berlin, 2lp, US Mercury 846 611 1, including custom inner sleeves. Records again are housed in Mobile Fidelity Rice Paper sleeves. Cover is EX, with a 1/2 inch sawcut on the bottom left. Other than that no wear to speak of. The vinyls are EX+ to near mnt. There is one extremely light hairline that you'll have to look hard to find that does not affect play. Waters assembled an all star cast for this concert, including members of the Band, The Hooters, Paul Carrack, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Sinead O'Conner, Scorpions, etc., but the real highlight is Bryan Adams version of Young Lust, which is a classic! >The Rules- Buyer pays actual shipping. No hidden charges. Sellers who charge 4-6 dollars for Media mail are a pet peeve of mine.

The Rant: I'm tired of receiving lps graded MINT that have scratches and scuffs. Also the ones that are so dirty the seller can't see the scratches and scuffs. I'm also dizzy from trying to decipher mint minus from EX+, VG+ from EX, etc, with no description of what caused that rating.
The commitment: I'll describe the item as much as I need to to give a clear picture of the condition. If there are flaws, I'll describe them. If there are ANY marks OF ANY KIND on the vinyl I'll play through them to make sure they do not affect the listening experience. If they do, the listing will say so. Grading is an arbitrary thing, so I'll assign a grade, and you can use the description to cross check. Please e:mail any questions prior to the close of the auction. I will guarantee your money back, plus your postage, if the description of the item is inaccurate.
