This is a fantastic copy of the double album from Pink Floyd, first edition. It plays like new. Best sounding copy I have heard since it came out. It is complete with original inner sleeves and title sticker (non-sticky) on the front. Definitely worthy of a collector. I have listed vinyl a excellent, which is no understatement, near mint. There is a very slight visible mark on the end of side 4 but it does not come through in the playback. 
The only minor issue is a small 5 cm split at the base of the card inner for record 2, which I have clearly shown in my final photograph. There is no damage to the main outer gatefold sleeve. I keep both records in new white inner sleeves now. 
This is an A3/B3/A4/B4 pressing. The band members are not listed inside gate-fold. It has heavy card printed inner sleeves, with rounded corners and the long cut-out at the top. The important details should all be in my photos.

The record will be sent with the vinyl placed in separate paper sleeves outwith the original main and inner sleeves. It will be heavily protected, in an extra heavy card mailer with polystyrene packer. The package weighs 1kg.

"The Wall is the eleventh studio album by English rock band Pink Floyd, released 28 November 1979 on Harvest and Columbia Records. It is a rock opera that explores Pink, a jaded rockstar whose eventual self-imposed isolation from society is symbolised by a wall. The album was a commercial success, topping the US charts for 15 weeks, and reaching number three in the UK. It initially received mixed reviews from critics, many of whom found it overblown and pretentious, but later came to be considered one of the greatest albums of all time.
Bassist Roger Waters conceived The Wall during Pink Floyd's 1977 In The Flesh tour, modelling the character of Pink after himself and former bandmate Syd Barrett. Recording spanned from December 1978 to November 1979. Producer Bob Ezrin helped to refine the concept and bridge tensions during recording, as the band were struggling with personal and financial issues at the time. The Wall is the last album to feature Pink Floyd as a quartet; keyboardist Richard Wright was fired by Waters during production, but stayed on as a salaried musician. Three singles were issued from the album: "Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2" (the band's only US number-one single), "Run Like Hell", and "Comfortably Numb". From 1980 to 1981, Pink Floyd performed the full album on a tour that featured elaborate theatrical effects.
The Wall is one of the best-known concept albums and was adapted into a 1982 feature film of the same name. The album has sold more than 24 million copies, is the second best-selling in the band's catalogue, behind The Dark Side of the Moon (1973), and is one of the best-selling of all time. Some of the outtakes from the recording sessions were used on the group's next album, The Final Cut (1983). In 2000 it was voted number 30 in Colin Larkin's All Time Top 1000 Albums. In 2003, Rolling Stone listed The Wall at number 87 on its list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time". From 2010 to 2013, Waters staged a new Wall live tour that became the highest-grossing tour by a solo musician."

Notes 1st pressing with picture labels in gatefold sleeve with plastic sticker that adheres to the sleeve, but is not permanently stuck on.

Specific to the first issue sleeve:
Band members are not listed on the inside cover. It only says "Words and Music - Roger Waters. Except..." and "Produced By David Gilmour, Bob Ezrin, Roger Waters". (Later re-pressings added band member credits and had other minor alterations).
No bar code on the back cover.
The Wall is cream coloured, not true white. The bricks on the front cover are not aligned right to the bottom of the cover on the outside or inside.
There are two 1st pressing sleeve variants:
1. A single sheet of wrap-around cardboard with the seam across the inner top edge of the cover. *2. Two sheets of cardboard, with seams at the top and bottom of the cover. Cardboard is heavy thickness.*
There are two 1st pressing lyric inner sleeve variants (Both are on thick card with rounded corners and a nine-inch thumb notch at the top):
1. Sides 2 and 4 have the catalog number of the specific record listed on a single line in the lower right corner. *2. Sides 2 and 4 have the catalog number (SHDW 411), international catalogue number (OC-158 63410), and the UK catalogue number (SHSP 4111) in the lower right corner.*
