Grading
Vinyl - NM/M-
I would be surprised if these vinyls have had more than the one play I have given them.
Viewing the vinyls in natural light, they both look NM/M- with a strong, deep black reflective gloss over all four sides. Viewing the vinyls up close in non-natural bright light still only shows glossy and reflective surfaces with just a couple of ultra light, wispy and barely visible hairlines.
The vinyls are issued in two thick cardboard sleeves without any poly-lined inner sleeves and therefore easily marked, especially when removing the vinyl from the sleeve. That being said, you would need very bright light an extremely keen eye to spot anything on these two perfect pieces of vinyl. It's like they've been preserved in a time-lock and only just been released this morning. The vinyls look and play a true NM/M-. Not a single scratch or mark, no hiss or crackle, no jumping or skipping, no issues or random anomalies just loud, well balanced and well pressed audio punching out your speakers exactly how it was intended to sound.
As mentioned above, this is an incredibly hard LP to find in this condition, and especially a UK 1979 1st pressing. This is a true grading of NM/M- and a true top collectors piece. This item will only increase in desirability and value.
The audio is crystal clear throughout. Loud and punchy just as the band intended it to be. Even between tracks you could hear a pin drop it's so quiet. From start to finish, both vinyls are near perfect.
Sleeve - NM
They say a picture can speak a thousand words, well I've uploaded 12 pictures so technically that's twelve thousand words I don't need to type but even then, I still think I'd have more to say about this sleeve as it is truly awesome in every way. Please make sure you view the pictures carefully. Just look at that spine for instance, it's perfect. A smooth cover front and back. Straight edges leading to pointy corners. Sharp and crisp edges are simply superb. The gatefold opens like it was made yesterday and it's like new inside. I can not fault this sleeve, it's just remarkable. It's also complete with both original printed lyric inner sleeves with rounded corners. Just perfect condition. There isn't a single rip or seam split anywhere. A stunning sleeve in every way.
