Pink Floyd – The Wall

Pink Floyd evolved from an earlier rock band, formed in 1965, which was at different times called Sigma 6, The Meggadeaths, The Architectural Abdabs, The Screaming Abdabs, and The Abdabs. When the band split up, guitarists Rado ‘Bob’ Klose and Roger Waters, drummer Nick Mason, and wind instrument player Rick Wright formed a new band called Tea Set. After a brief spell with a lead vocalist named Chris Dennis guitarist and vocalist Syd Barrett joined the band and it was Barrett that came up with the name Pink Floyd (after two blues musicians, Pink Anderson and Floyd Council).

The album is on Harvest Records, SHDW 411. Matrix side one: SHSP 4111 A-4U (stamped). Matrix side two: SHSP 4111 B-4U (stamped). Matrix side three: SHSP 4112 A-1U (stamped). Matrix side four: SHSP 4112 B-7U (stamped).
Released in 1979. UK pressing. Stereo.

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: excellent (a few light superficial marks can only be seen under bright light that do not affect the audio in any way, plays excellent with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 2: very good (looks very clean but plays with the odd light click here and there but certainly nothing that spoils your enjoyment of the music, it still sounds great, plays with no sticks or skips and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 3: very good (looks very clean but plays with the odd light click here and there but certainly nothing that spoils your enjoyment of the music, it still sounds great, plays with no sticks or skips and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 4: excellent (a few very light superficial marks can only be seen under bright light that do not affect the audio in any way, plays excellent with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Cover (looks laminated, gatefold, removable acatate/plastic “Pink Floyd The Wall” wording on front): excellent (a few light creases mainly around the edges, light discolouring mainly around the edges).
Comes with the original inner sleeves in very good condition - one has a split on the right edge and the other on the bottom edge, some age related marks!
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
