Condition

All covers, labels and inners have no rips, loosening of glue, handwriting in ink or biro pen.

All records listed are in no less than EX condition (see above for actual grading). In some cases I may list a very rare record at a lesser grading but this will be described in detail. All items are graded conservatively according to Record Collectors Grading System Record Collectors Grading system (outlined at end of listing)

All records are removed from their main jackets & sent within a brand new polythene protective sleeve! what else do you need??

Brief description of item

STUNNING TEST PLAYED COPY...I have just listened through each side & can confirm (as expected) both record being in superb looking shape, also match in terms of audio contained within the recordings. They practically BOOM! out of the speakers, this set is in incredible condition. Both records have (including my recent test play)..AT MOST.. Only three careful plays. They have NO surface ingrained dust, no repetitive pop, tick or click in play, NO background noise is even evident upon listening carefully through the entire works of each side 1/2/3 & 4. No warping of discs & no needle thrashed or trashed marks, no surface scratched marks or scuffing. BOTH SUPERB looking & both Supersonic sounding records. You will never wish for a more quiet couple of records!

As you can see the records are stored within spare NEW anti static sleeve inners. The original card inners with rounded corners & brown card inside are in VG+ (or better) shape. I have checked the actual discs visually under harsh lighting such as white light or halogen bulb, also normal daylight conditions. Only the lightest of inner card storage hairline that totally do not impact on audio contained within either side of all sides played. LOVELY shape indeed, glossy & VERY, VERY clean.

All labels are in EX- shape with only down to some moderate signs or possible light signs of spindle trace. By that I mean possibly a three at most on any side. NO NAME or pre-owned names are written (like many people did back in the day) these are not blemished with biro or ink pen.  Nice clean & bright with no ripping or tearing. All text is highly legible on any label sides.  

MAIN JACKET...Has no ripping or splitting or names. Features the original CREAM cover & the sticker is present. NOTE : sticker is not intact to the actual cover, but is included in the set. The sticky residue was always very light & in time (like now) decades down the line bound to become less adhesive. This will not stick again & was meant to be used for either window sticker purpose if so desired or stuck to the cover front. The sticker is in EX condition with no tearing or fade in print. The spine at side is intact with no splitting. A common strain point for this double loader cover. The outer cover might have slight parts of wear or crease but nothing drastic or severe in nature. Inner gated cover is spotless & clean also without names or dirt or damp etc, etc.

Record will be packed in a tough custom box DEFENDAPACK mailer as shown in the photos below. The mailer has a locking tab. The record will be placed outside its cover and inside a brand new polythene protector between two card stiffeners and sealed at the top with fragile marked masking tape. Items are labelled "handle with care".

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc

Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler

CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
