I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.
PINK FLOYD.
THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON.
UK HARVEST LP - SHVL 804 - WITH GRAMOPHONE RIM LABELS + BLUE TINT COVER.
Early UK press with Gramophone rim labels. The cover has the early blue tint that is very obvious to see. I have placed a standard black cover next to this cover in the pictures above and you will see this clearly. I have had so many different UK  early issues of this LP over the years. Some of the blue covers are more blue than others and that is a fact.
This is a nice playing example and graded strictly.
The record has A3 / B2 matrix numbers.
The 2 posters and 2 stickers are missing and NOT included.
The Record / VG condition. 
The disc plays very well and is great to play. Under halogen light the record has some light surface wear and some light marks. The record still has a nice original gloss. I will give a play grade of VG+. Not a perfect example but this is a nice player and a rare early pressing.
The Labels / VG++ condition. 
The Cover / VG- condition. The rare blue tint cover is solid, the top corner has a crease. The cover has storage plus age wear but it is still ok. The side opening is very slightly bowed but this is nothing serious. VG- is a strict grade. I have seen this cover is far worse conditions over the years.
The Inner Cover / VG- Condition. The black inner cover has some age wear. The poly inner has come lose over the years. I have now put the LP in a new inner cover. .................................................................................
I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear.  The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
