Description
PINK FLOYD The Dark Side of the Moon 30th Anniversary Edition 2003 EU LP + 2 Posters
Sought after version of this classic LP. This copy is missing some of the original contents but would be a reasonable copy for playback and listening to what is generally accepted as being one of the best recorded versions of this classic LP.
Detailed Grading: -
Outer Sleeve: EX-
The solid gatefold sleeve is generally clean, un-creased and has little in the way of damage save for some small impact damage to one corner (see photos) and very minor impact to the top corner adjoining the spine. Edges are unrubbed and the opening edges are sharp and undamaged. The sleeve has some very light scuff lines across it when viewed under bright light. These have just left extremely light impressions, rather than breaking the surface. Overall it’s still a nice example of this sleeve.
Vinyl: EX+ (close to Near Mint)
The vinyl is visually EX+, perhaps very close to Near Mint. The vinyl retains a beautiful deep gloss shine and just a very few extremely light whispy hairlines are visible under bright halogen light. Playback is very nice, but please remember that this is NOT a CD, there is the (very) occasional audible pop, but make no mistake this record grades and plays very well indeed. A nice copy that delivers stunning audio playback.
Additional Extra’s – Near Mint.
This copy is missing some of the additional extras, and has two posters remaining, namely the “pyramid” poster and the special edition poster that was included in this 30th Anniversary Edition. The posters are unused.
The black poly-lined inner is present and is in EX+ condition and is unblemished.
Postage and Packing:
All records are placed in a separate poly lined inner and stored flat outside the sleeve and then placed sealed in a re-sealable polythene outer prior to shipping. Records are then placed between square cardboard sheets before packaging into cruciform mailers especially designed for LP’s. These mailers are a high-grade type which reinforce the edges around the LP and as such they are larger and weigh more than standard mailers. My postage costs reflect the additional size and weight of the packaging that I use.
