Description
Up for auction is PINK FLOYD's final album "The Division Bell" released in the UK on EMI (cat. no. 7243 8 28984 1 2) in March 1994. This UK first pressing is in stunning condition with minimal wear & minimal play!
The album comes with the first issue custom picture LABELS. Both LABELS are in pristine MINT condition! There are absolutely no signs of use or any kind of spidermarks around the spindle hole!
Matrix numbers are as follows:
Side 1: 8289841 A-1-2-1, TML-X (all stamped), FLOYD-A (etched)
Side 2: 8289841 B-2-1-1, TML-X (all stamped), FLOYD-B (etched).

The album is housed in the original matt finished wide spine gatefold SLEEVE which was printed in the US and shows a photo taken at dawn with the background lights on. That's the way I bought the album almost twenty years ago – a UK first pressing housed in a US manufactured record sleeve...! I didn't mix anything here, it's just the way I got hold of it. Believe me.The gatefod SLEEVE is in NEAR MINT condition with absolutely NO flaws! There's NO thumb nailing, there are NO seam splits, NO unwanted writing, NO deletion marks (like punch holes or saw marks, etc.)! There's one shop crease to the spine, hardly noticeable and definitely not through the colour (please have a close look at the pictures!). The gatefold SLEEVE is as clean, sharp and fresh as the day it left the factory!
The printed art INNER SLEEVE is in NEAR MINT condition!

Both sides of the VINYL are shiny & mirror like! There's not a single mark or scratch to report of! PLAYBACK for both sides is EXCELLENT+++ with only lightest isolated dust pops in the quietest passages or in between songs. There are no other audible distractions of any kind! The soundscapes PINK FLOYD created on their last album are incredibly impressive with an astonishing dynamic range from the almost silent ambient detail to the loudest crescendos and all frequencies are bright and clear and the audio is strong, rich and lusciously warm.
A really exceptional original pressing of one of PINK FLOYD's rarest albums on vinyl – the finest copy you could wish for with the cleanest sound performance I have ever heard!

MINT: The Record Itself Is In Brand New Condition With No Surface Marks Or Deterioration In Sound Quality. The Cover And Any Extra Items Such As The Lyric Sheet, Booklet Or Poster Are In Perfect Condition. Records Advertised, As Sealed Or Unplayed Should Be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The Record Shows Some Signs Of Having Been Played, But There Is Very Little Lessening In Sound Quality. The Cover And Packaging Might Have Slight Wear And / Or Creasing.
VERY GOOD: The Record Has Obviously Been Played Many Times, But Displays No Major Deterioration In Sound Quality, Despite Noticeable Surface Marks And The Occasional Light Scratch. Normal Wear And Tear On The Cover Or Extra Items, Without Any Major Defects, Is Acceptable.
