You know what it is, you know what it should be worth, but there is a bit of a problem with this, which obviously we have to tell you about:

Sleeve condition: EX-?????  To look at the front, it looks EX. Look at the spine, EX. However, some numpty has done a repair job on the rear half of the gatefold. There must have been some wear along the top, which they thought they could improve by slightly cutting the section, re-folding and re-sticking. The result is the edge drops about 5mm. Have a look at the pictures, see what you think. If it bothers you, then this isn't the record for you. If you want an otherwise very nice looking bit of vinyl at a lot less than it would normally cost due to this sloping edge - make an offer!

Inner sleeve is EX+++

Vinyl condition: EX has a couple of very light hairline marks, but not affecting play. Nice and shiny! One Of The Best We Have Had !!

How we grade the condition of our records:

We use the Record Collector magazine grading system to evaulate all the vinyl we list. Most evaluation has to be done visually, as there isn't time to listen to everything, though sometimes it is necessary to make sure and this will be mentioned when done.

Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide:

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

**NEAR MINT (NM) is often used as well; this is really for a record that appears new but is known to have been played because the label has light spindle marks or because it has come from a previous owner and is assumed to have been played by them. For records which appear to fall between the accepted grades, + and - are also often added to the grading.
