Description
For sale here is a super copy of Pink Floyds iconic "The Division Bell" album from 1994. Comes with all the attributes of an original first UK pressing. Cat number 7243 8 28984 1 2. Complete earliest first pressing, all in great condition. Hardly looks played at all.
The original UK pressing, released on black vinyl in 1994, sold in quite small amounts as CD's had taken over the world by this time! Vinyl was dying a death, so to find a copy in this condition after nearly 30 years is a huge bonus. These really are quite rare these days, especially in this condition. Hard to find a better copy these days.
Matrix numbers are A1-1-1-? FLOYD A and B2-2-1-1 FLOYD B. Both sides stamped TML-L. This is the real deal.
Please have a good close look at all the photos I have put up. Zoom in for a detailed view. The cover is in a superb condition and graded as excellent. The inner lyric sheet is also graded as excellent. The vinyl itself weighs in at 130 grams and is visually excellent, but on side 2 track 1 there is a very light mark which causes some soft "ticks". Otherwise this copy plays extremely well.
All in all a lovely example of this hard to find 1st UK pressing. I think the winner of this auction will be very happy!
I will post overseas, although I have had issues in the past from both Russia and Italy amongst others, usually for non-payment. I have listed the price for UK postage only. If an overseas ebayer wants this, please contact me before bidding to discuss postal options. Ebay now have their own system of charging taxes for other countries now that the UK is not in the EU. These charges are out of my hands, and are generated by the destination country, not me! I DO NOT make anything on the postage. I charge the exact cost (often less) that I pay. I DO NOT charge for packing materials and I try to use recycled packing anyway. I also dress all my albums in a brand new heavyweight plastic cover and a brand new anti-static inner sleeve. All vinyl is packed outside of the cover and 2 stiffeners are used in transit. I have sold many valuable vinyl's over the years and am often credited with Fort Knox style packing. Please bid with peace of mind that what you see is what you get.
