HERE WE HAVE A STUNNING!!! UK HARVEST (SHPF 1983) FIRST PRESSING (March 1983)!!! OF PINK FLOYD'S VASTLY UNDERRATED, "DIFFICULT" AND TOTALLY MIND BLOWING LP, "The Final Cut" ALL IN SUPERB, UNPLAYED CONDITION!!!
THE LP HAS THE FIRST ISSUE MATRIX: SHPF 1983 A-5U-1-1 TML-S / SHPF 1983 B-2U-1-1 TML-M TML-M (stamped twice)
AND IS IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL "MILITARY STRIP" GATEFOLD SLEEVE (with its all important title sticker untouched and in place!!) AND COMES COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL BLACK POLY LINED INNER (with a glossy sheen and rounded bottom corners - specially designed for this release). AGAIN ALL IN BEAUTIFUL, PRISTINE, LIKE-NEW CONDITION!!!!!
THIS REALLY IS A STUNNING COPY!!!! AND BECOMING INCREASINGLY RARE AS A FIRST PRESSING - AND IMPOSSIBLY RARE IN SUCH FANTASTIC CONDITION!!!

The Final Cut extends the autobiography of The Wall, concentrating on Roger Waters' pain when his father died in World War II. Waters spins this off into a treatise on the futility of war, concentrating on the Falkland Islands, setting his blistering condemnations and scathing anger to impossibly subdued music that demands full attention.
This is more like a novel than a record, requiring total concentration since shifts in dynamics, orchestration, and instrumentation are used as effect.
The even bent of the arrangements, where the music is used as texture, not music, means that The Final Cut purposely alienates all but the most dedicated listener. Several of those listeners maintain that this is among Pink Floyd's finest efforts. And I would agree that this is Pink Floyd's FINEST achievement!!!!!!!!
That doesn't make this easier to embrace, of course, and it's damn near impenetrable in many respects, but with its anger, emphasis on lyrics, and sonic textures, it's clear that the album is everything Waters intended it to be... AND MORE!!!

LABELS: The Harvest Picture labels are PRISTINE and have NO wear, NO writing and NO spindle marks!!!! I DON'T THINK THIS LP HAS EVER BEEN PLAYED!!!!!
VINYL Visual: The record lies perfectly flat on the turntable and both surfaces have their original DEEP, LIKE-NEW, GLOSSY SHEEN. They are COMPLETELY UNMARKED!!! BEAUTIFUL VINYL!!!
VINYL Audio: SUPERB!! Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE audio!! STUNNING dynamic range!! If you listen to this on headphones you will be completely BLOWN AWAY by its power, anger and strength and the ambient textural sounds - bomb explosions, fighter planes, clocks ticking, footsteps, cars, barking dogs, the laughing, the whispers, the wind blowing etc.!!!! CRYSTAL CLEAR, VERY SHARP and VERY STRONG sound reproduction!!!!! There are NO scratches, barely ANY clicks/pops (and only a couple like the ones you would find on a brand new LP and hardly worth mentioning!!!) NO jumps, NO sticks, and NO surface noise AT ALL!!!! (the run ins and quiet passages are as quiet as vinyl can possibly be!!)  - truly AWESOME and very, VERY rare for a FIRST PRESSING!! The sound quality is simply ASTONISHING!! with NO groove-wear and NO distortion!!!! This copy has probably NEVER been played!! This must be graded NEAR MINT for audio!!!! (should warrant a MINT grading as it's as good as new (and therefore MINT) but because of the couple of ticks I will downgrade the record slightly) This record is NOT over-graded in ANY way as I use STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR grading standards!!! AN ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING LP!!!!!!!
SLEEVE: The cover is simply PERFECT!! CLEAN, BRIGHT, FACTORY FRESH!!! It has been kept in a protective gatefold plastic sleeve since new and it will be posted to you in the same sleeve!!
The ORIGINAL BLACK INNER SLEEVE is also in perfect condition!!
