GREAT COPY - BARELY PLAYED - CRYSTAL CLEAN, CLEAN, STRONG AND VIBRANT SOUND
VERY HARD TO FIND IN DECENT PLAYING CONDITION (see detailed audio assessment below) ESPECIALLY A VERY FIRST PRESSING (see below for all correct first issue criteria)

FIRST PRESS DETAILS: THE GARROD & LOFTHOUSE GATEFOLD COVER IS CREAM IN COLOUR, HAS NON-ALIGNED (at the bottom of the front) PURPLE BRICKS, NO BAND CREDITS ON THE INSIDE AND IS CONSTRUCTED OF ONE SINGLE PIECE OF CARD WITH JUST ONE SEAM JOIN ON THE TOP EDGE
COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL ACETATE STICKER
THE TWO ORIGINAL LYRIC INNER SLEEVES ARE PRINTED ON THICK CARD WITH ROUNDED CORNERS AND TAN COLOURED INSIDE WITH A 9" TOP THUMB NOTCH - THEY HAVE THE CATALOGUE NUMBERS PRINTED ON A SINGLE LINE

*PRESSED IN VERY LARGE NUMBERS WITH APPARENTLY NO QUALITY CONTROL AND HOUSED ON UNKIND THICK CARD INNER SLEEVES WHICH MEANT THAT THE SHALLOW PRESSED GROOVES WERE NORMALLY SCRATCHED EVEN BEFORE THE RECORD HIT THE STORES THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE MOST CHALLENGING PINK FLOYD RECORDS TO FIND IN DECENT PLAYING CONDITION

Clean and unmarked labels with only a handful of light spindle traces
VINYL Visual: EX+ to NM
All four vinyl surfaces retain their original deep glossy sheen, are practically unmarked and shine like new
VINYL Audio: EX to EX++
Pink Floyd's soundscapes cover an amazing dynamic range - from the loudest crescendos to the almost silent ambient details (chirping birds, overhead planes, mumbles, whispers etc) and to find a copy of The Wall that will play with completely flawless sound has, in my experience, proved impossible (I have never heard one) but this is one of the finest I've heard in a while and my play-check at loud volume detected no major audio issues. Of course there are some minor light static 'ticks' here and there but only some clicks on "The Thin Ice" and "Mother" are worthy of mention otherwise, plays with little else to fault.
The sound performance is exceptionally clean - deep, rich, warm and crystal clear.
Very critically graded as EX to EX+ for audio but, in my opinion, just about as good as it gets - especially for this very first pressing
SLEEVE: NEAR MINT
The original G&L gatefold cover is sharp and fresh with few signs of handling - no marks, no ring-wear and crisp, sharp edges with no corner bumps. There is a hint of discolouration to the spine but otherwise, like-new
ACETATE STICKER: NEAR MINT
The 'sticker' is clean and unmarked with no creases or discolouration
INNER SLEEVES: NEAR MINT
The two original lyric inners are also in superb condition - clean and fresh with no seam splits

A PROTECTIVE POLY SLEEVE, NEW INNER SLEEVE WITH ANTI-STATIC LINER, QUALITY BOX (NOT ENVELOPE) MAILER AND AMPLE STIFFENERS ARE ALWAYS USED TO ENSURE THAT YOUR RECORD ARRIVES SAFELY
