Description
This is part of a large Pink Floyd collection I have been selling over a few months now.
I still have around 100 albums still to list, including many UK 1st pressings of most titles, some multiple times too.
Due to the huge amount of vinyl this collection involves, I have not got the time to play-grade every album. I will fully play-grade any of significant value, otherwise it is a visual appraisal. As I have been collecting vinyl since 1968, I feel I have a good idea of sound quality versus visual appearance! I do of course refund in full if the album is of a lesser quality than my grading. No attempts at part refunds please. Been had too many times on that one!
PLEASE NOTE:- My gradings are as per Record collector magazine. I NEVER grade an opened album as near mint or mint. A grade of that calibre is highly unlikely for a vinyl of 30, 40 or 50+ years old. I see them listed all the time. Near mint or whatever, then the seller goes on to describe marks, the odd crackle, click or pop. Lets be honest. My top grade for an unsealed vinyl album is excellent plus (Ex+), and if that is the grade you can be sure of a pretty special vinyl!
All of my albums come with a brand new heavy duty polythene protective outer cover and a brand new anti-static inner sleeve, all in the asking price.
This is the bands iconic 1979 release "The Wall".
The description below is a purely visual one. Full refunds if not as described, as I have already made clear.
The cover is about as good as you will find. This copy is a beauty. Vivid creamy colouring, with just a hint of discolouration at its extremities. No wear at all to the spine. Perfectly readable. No wear to top edge. No wear to bottom edge. Just a couple of corners have a very light "bump". Super example and grades as excellent plus. Also comes with the very desirable vinyl hype sticker (not sticky!)
The lyric inner sleeves are in great condition. No slits or tears. Hard to fault in any way at all. Just about perfect and also grade excellent plus.
The vinyl's. Well, these are pretty amazing. Not a mark worthy of the name. Clean, black and glossy. A couple (literally) of spindle marks to each of the labels. To be quite honest, these look as if they have just left the record store. I have no hesitation at all in giving these my highest grading for an opened and played vinyl. These should play superbly well. Graded as excellent plus.
The tour programme from the early 80's has a little wear, but no significant damage and grades as very good.
The 2 DVD's (The Wall film & Behind the wall) are in great shape. "Behind the wall" is still sealed.
The artwork postcard is excellent.
The coaster is excellent. Unused.
The gel pen is new and unused.
