Description: Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one by Pink Floyd.  I noted on the labels (see scan) it says 1979.  I understand there may be a 1982 version of this disc, but I don't see anything on the labels showing 1982, it just shows 1979.  If there's a better way to determine which version this is, please send me a message thru e-bay.  Thanks in advance for that.

  Several unique things about this item:  Firstly, these discs retain the original shine with a few very light marks grading by sight in normal room light.  I'm sure if you took these and put them under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes them less than mint.  If you're that kind of collector, let me suggest this auction is not for you.

I don't claim these records are mint.    11:28:17: I just took the time to play several portions of each side.    I did hear on a few tests some very light pops.  On a few of the very quiet passage tests I heard some light surface noise.  This is with the volume turned up a bit higher than normal.  I'd rate the records around VG+ audibly.  Some tracks are going to sound fine, some will have some surface noise and pops. 

Keep in mind how it plays for me may differ how it plays for you based on differences in audio equipment.

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s). 

Here is a summary of the record(s):

Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:

• NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
• 3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise
• 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops
• VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective)
• VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise
• G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise

I normally ship a single record in a standard 12.5 x 12.5 x 1 record mailer.  Weight with box is 1 pound 8 ounces. Shipping is $3.12 Media Rate (1-2 pounds) + $1.20 box/tape/pack = $4.32.
Alternatively, I can ship in a  14 x 14 x 6" box. Weight with box is about 2 pound 1 oz. Shipping is $3.61 Media Rate (2-3 pounds) + $1.70 box/tape/packing = $5.31.

This auction is currently set to ship in the smaller box.  If you want the larger box, let me know and I'll send an appropriate invoice.
