Description
This is the original UK LP by PINK FLOYD, THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, MEGA RARE 1973 1st Press on the SOLID LIGHT BLUE TRIANGLE HARVEST label SHVL 804, with the "Gramophone Company Limited" label credits, complete with the original one side opening 1st issue Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold cover, the original black inner sleeve, the original 2 posters and the 2 postcard size stickers. Matrix numbers are, SIDE 1:- SHVL 804 A-2, SIDE 2:- SHVL 804-B-2, stamper codes are, SIDE 1:- 2 / HM, SIDE 2:- 1 / PH.
The original 1973 UK 1st issue Garrod and Lofthouse, one side only opening gatefold cover is in EX condition, the cover maintains it lovely deep black colour, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits, the spine is fully intact, their is the remnace of a sticker on the front, top right of the cover, not visually intrusive, and only seen in certain light.
The vinyl is in VG+++ condition, gleaming with all its original shine and lustre, I ahve played both sides, and the quality of this MEGA RARE Stereo 1st Pressing is without doubt absloutely WONDERFUL, playing with crisp, clear clarity, delivering a LUSH, WARMTH AND DEPTH to this superb LP, near the start of track 3 "On The Run" their is a few light clicks, their is no jumping or sticking, plays through perfectly, this is the only critisisim I can give, this LP plays so beautifully its a absolute joy to the listen too.
The label's are in EX+++/MINT- condition, lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing and no scuffs, the spindal hole has little or no wear.
The vinyl housed in it's original 1973 1st issue black inner sleeve and in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits.
The 2 original posters are in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean, maintaining their original bright vibrant colour, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits.
The 2 original postcard sized stickers are in EX condition, lovely and clean, their is no unwanted writing and no rip or tears.
Altogether a GREAT copy of this original 1973 UK 1st Press UK LP by PINK FLOYD, THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, complete with all the original and correct posters, inner sleeve and stickers, SOLID LIGHT BLUE TRIANGLE LABELS, and the one side only 1st issue Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold cover.
