A genuine first pressing. Both labels omit the later- added EMI boxed logos and have 'Gramophone Co..' rim texts. This copy has the withdrawn “Gigi” cover and also contains the word “London” mis- spelt as “Londen” on the back. Label 4 misspells the word 'Grand' as 'Gand' in the track 4 song title. The discs are housed within an outer laminated 'Ernest J. Day' printed gatefold cover inside very early white inner liners.

The matrix numbers and mother stampers show just how early this is. The labels are SHDW 1 & SHDW.

 The matrix numbers are SHDW 1 A-1, SHDW 1 B-2 & SHDW 2 A-1, SHDW 2 B-2 (second pressings have B-3 on side four)

A superb set with just a handful of tiny spindle trails . EXCELLENT+ 

Vinyl:

I’m not suggesting all surfaces on the album are mint but they are clean & glossy.  What visual blemishes exist seem to be harmless wispy paper trails consistent with taking the albums in and out of their inner liners over a period of time. It plays fine on my equipment.  EXCELLENT +

Cover

All corners and edges are fine, just one hairline dent in the laminate at the spine. The inside of the gatefold is clean, unmarked & unworn

MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT: Slight signs of having been played, no lessening of sound quality. Cover, label, extras are good.

VERY GOOD: played quite a few times, no real deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras slight amount of wear and tear.

GOOD: showing some wear and tear. Reasonable, playable sound. No major defects in record, cover, label, extras.
