Notes:-

Ummagumma is a double album by the English progressive rock band Pink Floyd. It was released on 25 October 1969, through Harvest Records. The first disc is a live album that contains part of their normal set list of the time, while the second contains solo compositions by each member of the band recorded as their fourth studio album.

The album was very well received at the time of release, and was a top five hit in the UK album charts. This album has been reissued on CD several times, along with the rest of their catalogue.

The album is also notable for its artwork, featuring a number of pictures of the band combined together to give a Droste effect. Like several other of the band's covers, it was designed by Hipgnosis.

If you are looking at this auction I'm sure you will know all about it's history and the impact it had in 1969. I purchased this record new in my youth and it has hardly been played since. The cover is as good as you will find for an album of this age , the cover and the vinyl looks amazing for a record of it's age. The sleeve is in excellent condition, (see below) the artwork is bold and sharp, no scuffing to the edges, only very small scuffs at the corners. I very much doubt that you will find a better example.

Condition:-

Record: Excellent / near mint -

Outer Cover: Excellent / near mint. Some very small scuffs on the corners. Spine excellent.

The inner record sleeves are NOT original and do not have the Harvest inner cover artwork. Apart from this the two vinyl records and gatefold sleeve are are they should be and very near to mint.

I am not a record dealer, I am selling part of an extensive collection of interesting and rare vinyl collected during my youth. I will be adding many more very rare vinyl LP's over the next weeks.

Identifying each recording is not easy, but I have tried to be as accurate as I can be. Please forgive any mistakes and please let me know if I get anything wrong.

I will try my best to correct any errors.

I have more pictures if you would like any more please let me know.

I now apply the Ebay ‘4-day’ rule for non-payment.

Please note and take in consideration that vinyl records although perfectly playable do not have the same quality sound as today’s modern CDs, they tend to have a much richer sound, but there is inevitably some back ground 'noise'

All my records are of good playable quality but should be properly cleaned before playing.

You should bare in mind that these vinyl records are many years old and will thus not be in pristine condition, they were not produced yesterday.

THE POST OFFICE HAVE PUT UP THE COST POSTAGE AGAIN !

The item will be well packed in LP mailer envelope with packers and posted 'signed For'.

PAYMENT: I prefer PayPal, but I will accept cheques and postal orders.

The item will be posted as soon as any cheque has been cleared, several days!

Please take note the seller will not be held responsible for items lost in transit via standard mail .

Sorry but no collections are possible, unless by prior agreement, i.e. before you bid.

Record Collector's grading system used.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
