"UMMAGUMMA" MEGA RARE (most 1st pressing versions have A1/B2/A1/B3 matrix numbers but this is the very first issue with A1/B2/A1/B2 matrix numbers) DOUBLE LP. 1st UK PRESSING RELEASED 25th Oct 1969.HARVEST: SHDW 1/2 NO EMI ON LABELS ('Gramophone Co.' text around the label perimeter) WITH RARE MISPRESSING SIDE 4 STATES "GAND" VIZIER'S INSTEAD OF "GRAND" VIZIER'S (SEE SCAN BELOW) 1st PRESSING MATRIX & STAMPER NUMBERS SIDE 1 = SHDW 1 A-1 (STAMPER 2/GO) SIDE 2 = SHDW 1 B-2 (STAMPER 1/GT) SIDE 3 = SHDW 2 A-1 (STAMPER 1/GO) SIDE 4 = SHDW 2 B-2 (STAMPER 1/RL)
Cover: Excellent. 1st pressing Ernest J Day laminated wide-spine gatefold cover. 1st pressing covers are slightly darker than later pressings and have the printers name (Garrod & Lofthouse or Ernest J Day) slightly higher at the base of the rear cover than later pressings. No writings/doodles or seam splits. Light wear along the edges.
Vinyl: Thick heavy duty 1st pressing vinyl. Sides 1&2 = Very Good and Sides 3&4 = Very Good+. Not mint but incredibly rare! Labels: Excellent. No EMI Box on labels. Side 4 has the ultra rare 1st pressing error - 'Gand' Vizier's Garden Party + a couple of mis-spelled GILMOUR credits on the label. Has the Gramophone text around the label perimeter. Postage: £4 (UK), £5 (EUROPE) & £7 (REST OF THE WORLD) Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler
