Description
Here is a rare withdrawn original UK vinyl copy of Ummagumma by Pink Floyd on Harvest from 1969. This very early example features the incorrect 'Londen' printer's credit on the rear of the sleeve, only to be found on the very first released copies before being withdrawn and corrected, and the incorrect listing of 'The Gand Vizier's Garden Party' on side 4's label.
All four non-EMI box labels look near perfect, with very little evidence of any spindle marks, showing light play over the years. All four sides of vinyl look great in natural light and when inspected under strong halogen lighting various light surface marks and general scuffing can be seen but certainly no deep feelable scratches. The matrix endings are A-1/B-2/A-1/B-2 and the mother stampers are 1 R/1 R/1 H/1 GD. An overall grading of VG would seem appropriate.
The ultra rare laminated E J Day & Co Ltd gatefold sleeve wrongly stating 'Londen' is in VG condition with no rips or sticker tears and no unwanted writing but some creasing, some light laminate loss, cornerwear and evidence of ringwear.
Thanks for looking and good luck if you are bidding.
PLEASE NOTE: I carefully pack vinyl with records removed from covers.
