UK HARVEST (SHDW 1/2) FIRST PRESSING (November 1969) OF PINK FLOYD'S SUPERB DOUBLE LP SET, "Ummagumma" - CONTAINING ONE LIVE LP OF FOUR LONG TRACKS WITH POSSIBLY THE DEFINITIVE VERSION OF 'Careful With That Axe, Eugene' - WHICH SOUNDS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, AND A SECOND LP OF FLOYD AT THEIR EXPERIMENTAL FINEST WITH EACH BAND MEMBER GIVEN SPACE TO DEVELOP THEIR OWN PSYCH WORKOUTS
PRESSED ON TWO QUALITY MID/HEAVYWEIGHT RECORDS WITH THE FIRST HARVEST YELLOW/GREEN LABELS WHICH CARRY "The Gramophone Co.." RIM TEXT AND HAVE NO EMI BOX LOGO

All four labels are clean, bright and unmarked - sides one and two have about a dozen light spindles but sides three and four have only one - I would say record one has been lightly played and record two possibly played just once
VINYL Visual: NM/VG/NM/NM
All four sides retain their original deep glossy sheen and are beautifully clean. There is however one small flaw, but it's the ONLY real audible flaw to this beautiful set; side two has a light scratch on "Set The Controls..." which looks like it may have been caused by a speck of grit inside the inner sleeve scratching the record when it was taken out - its light, but it does have an audible consequence (please see details below) otherwise, side two also looks NM
VINYL Audio: NM/VG/NM/NM
A beautifully clean playing copy with no prominent surface noise or crackle (play-checked at loud volume). The scratch mentioned above gives rise to some very light background 'ticks' which are minor and non-intrusive, but on the quiet central section of the track (Set The Controls...") these rise above background level for about a minute and a half - otherwise, the rest of side two, like the rest of the set, plays NM
SLEEVE: NM
The wide spine gatefold is in beautiful condition with no edge or spine wear to speak of and the outer laminated surfaces have a deep, glass-like glossy sheen. The inside is clean and fresh with just a small patch of paper loss to the black colour (on the Richard Wright photo - please see pics)
INNER SLEEVES: EX
clean and fresh with no splits (just some light creasing)
