Pink Floyd x 5 Vinyl Collection all very early Pressings
On offer here is another his superb collection of Pink Floyd albums which includes three first pressings and two very early pressings. Overall the audio is very impressive and all are graded below.
'Dark Side...' plays with stunning clarity and depth and has very little 'background'. Visually it is stunning and looks hardly played. For such an early pressing 'Wish You Were Here' also plays with great clarity for the vast majority and S1 in particular is superb! The record does have some hairlines although not a massive amount but has no scratches. 'The Final Cut' does have some interference here and there but many of the tracks still play extremely well with very little intrusion and visually there is very little to fault. It looks hardly played so perhaps a few 'spins' will reduce the static etc. 'A Momentary Lapse Of Reason' is stunning and much of it plays 'as new' and it is only 'Signs Of Life' (as per usual!) that has some static/light crackle on the first section. Again it looks incredibly clean and has hardly been played judging by the lack of spindle wear. There is just a very minor 'lift' on one edge but it can scarcely be called a warp. The very first pressing of 'The Endless River' has never been played before but is not sealed. I did play one excerpt and it sounded fantastic! However, there is one obvious negative in that the first record has an obvious warp. Many of the first pressings had this fault and indeed many were returned! It would need to be professionally 'flattened' or could maybe just be included as 'part' of the collection. The second record has just a very minor 'lift', it isn't a warp.
The covers are all in excellent condition and nothing falls below an Ex- grading. There cannot be many collections on eBay with covers as clean as this! There is only very minor shelf wear and they have no marking or writing on any of them.

S1 NM for the vast majority - stunning! (T2 intro Ex-) / S2 is Ex (NM in many sections / T2 & T3 intro VG+) // The cover is Ex- // The lyric inner (three cut corners) is VG++ with one split on bottom edge, very clean though.
The Final Cut A1 / B2 // 1st Press // Sticker
S1 is Ex- (NM in some sections / T1 VG) / S2 is Ex- (NM in some sections / T3 VG) // The cover is Ex- (light wear only) // The original black inner is Ex+ (no splits)

The records have been professionally cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC-S machine
I grade according to "Record Collector" guidelines.
