Description
On sale here is a fantastic copy of Pink Floyds live recording in superb condition entitled "Wish the Animals Were Here". This was recorded at the Westfalenhalle, in Dortmund, Germany on the 23rd of January 1977.
This is the earliest pressing of this album, with the fully laminated cover, unlike later pressings that had a matt finish. The cover is in really excellent condition, and the vinyl looks like it has never seen a turntable. The vinyl must grade a solid EX+. The stereo sound quality is really good too, unlike many albums of this type. Track listing is:-
- Pigs on the Wing (1).
- Dogs.
- Pigs on the Wing (2).
- Welcome to the Machine.
- Have a Cigar.
- Wish You Were Here.
To find a copy like this, in this really excellent condition has to be a dream come true for collectors.
I have played this album just once, for recording purposes only. I doubt very much that there can be many better copies of this anywhere.
