This record is in very good+ condition. It has some faint spindle marks visible on the labels but there are not loads. There is also no pen marks, scuffs or any other issues such as stains or fading. The centres are not loose or worn and overall the labels are clean, bright and in good shape but with some spindle marks as mentioned.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything at all nasty or major and have a lovely lustre. There is no stand out scratches or marks but there is light and faint sleeve 'scuffs' and some wispy lines that are just about visible in normal light. So overall a used vintage record that has no nasty or major marks/scratches but has signs of use and age. It is grade below 'EX' due to the signs of use and age to its playing surfaces.
I play tested the record and it played nicely with no major issues or serious levels of interference. It lays perfectly flat on the deck and upon playing there is next to no movement in the record arm.
The audio has no skips, sticks or tics and generally plays with good clarity. I noted very light splutters or minor surface noise in the run in and quiet intro to side 1 and some similarly very slight spluttering in the very quiet section at the end of track 2. The audio in between is clear and of excellent quality, but there is this very slight amount of noise in the very quiet parts. Side 2 plays in a similar fashion with the vast majority excellent, but again with the odd light noise or faint splutter of surface noise in places. Overall it was a pristine audio experience but one that was very enjoyable and was certainly not noisy, with just very light spluttering in some of the near silent parts.
The sleeve is in excellent- condition. It has slight wear and minor rubbing to the edges and corners with but the writing along the spine is legible. There are no splits, tears, scuffs or pen marks and only minor levels of creasing near the edges. There is just faint ring marks evident but there is age related grubbiness and discolouring showing to each side. This is not really bad but being a white sleeve it has become jaded and grubby in places. Overall a solid sleeve with light wear and the discolouring as mentioned. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It includes its original picture inner which is in excellent condition. This has no splits, tears or pen marks and only very slight creasing. There is some light grubbiness and discolouring in places however. I will send the record in a brand new plain white replacement to ensure no damage occurs to the original during transit.
It also includes its original postcard which is in excellent+ condition with no tears, pen marks or creasing. It has a very slight 'bend' or curve to it however.
