This record is in excellent+ condition. It has just a few(3-4) very faint short spindle marks visible on each label and no pen marks or scuffs anywhere. The centres are not loose or worn and overall the label are in great shape with no major issues to report.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are very clean and have a beautiful vivid gloss. Side 2 is near enough spotless in normal light with little at all of any note visible. This side is in fantastic condition. Side 1 is also in excellent condition with nothing remotely serious evident. It does however have a few incredibly light 'sleeve scuffs' just showing when angled. There is also some light groove wear in track 1. This is the most noticeable issue on side 1 but it is very minor really. It occurs in parts in around 2 or 3 grooves, but is light and as I say quite minor. I have tried to capture to worst of it in the pictures above so please take a look at these to get a better understanding. Other than the mild groove wear and the few sleeve scuffs side 1 is also great with nothing remotely serious as I say. Both sides have a beautiful lustre and overall the record is in great shape with nothing sinister, no serious marks and no blemishes.
I play tested the record and it played really well and sounded superb throughout. It lays flat, there is virtually no movement in the record arm and the sound produced is crisp, dynamic and very clear with only the most minor occasional trace of surface noise possible. I heard a hint in the run in, a minor amount between some songs and some in the near silent parts but the the vast majority is of great clarity and excellent quality. There are obviously no skips, sticks, annoying clicks or any other serious issues. Overall it was a quality play test and it was a pleasure to listen to such a great sounding classic lp.
The sleeve is in excellent- condition. It has just a small minor amount of wear to the edges and corners, and the writing along the spine is all clearly legible. It has a strong spine(with pinched corners) and there are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere. There is no real ring marks showing but there are a few minor creases in places(front top left corner area). Other than this very minor wear and few creases its main issue is that it has some age related discolouring or 'grubbiness' in parts. This sleeve often suffers from this and of the few I have seen this is far from the worst and on the whole the discolouring is fairly minor. There is some however with the rear having the 'worst' of it. So overall a strong, clean sleeve with no major issues but some light age related wear and mild discolouring as mentioned. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It contains its original picture/info inner in excellent- condition. This has no splits, tears or pen marks and only minor creasing and ring marks. It does however have some wear to the edges and these are weakening in places. As a result I will of course send the record in a plain white replacement to ensure no further wear occurs. The inner also has a hint of age related discolouring but this is minor and overall it appears in good shape.
Also included is its original postcard insert. This is in near mint condition with no tears or pen marks and little to no creasing.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
