Hi, I started collecting vinyl Lp's and 45's in 1971, I have 20,000 + which I have moved now 4 times, and about to move again next year. So it's time to let at least half go. Most are in at least Excellent condition.  I can't listen to them all, so most will only have visual grading, any with a high start price, I will listen too, and play grade.

Wish You Were Here is the ninth studio album by the English rock band Pink Floyd, released on 12 September 1975 in the through EMI Harvest. Based on material Pink Floyd composed while performing in Europe, Wish You Were Here was recorded over numerous sessions throughout 1975, at Abbey Road Studios in London.

The album encompasses a variety of themes, including criticism towards the music business, alienation, as well as a tribute to founding member Syd Barrett, who left seven years earlier due to his deteriorating mental health. Like their previous record, Darkside of the Moon (1973), Floyd used studio effects, synthesizers and brought in guest singers, including Roy Harper, who provided the lead vocals on "Have a Cigar", and Venetta Fields, who added backing vocals to "Shine On You Crazy Diamond". The story goes that during the recording of "Shine on you Crazy Diamond", SYD himself walked into Abbey Road studios just out of the Blue! He had shaved his head and was wearing an overcoat, at first nobody recognized him, he spent the afternoon and then left.

To promote the album, the band released the double A-side single "Have a Cigar" / "Welcome to the Machine".

Wish You Were Here received mixed reviews from critics upon its initial release, who found its music to be uninspiring and inferior to their previous work. It has retrospectively received critical acclaim, hailed as one of the greatest albums of all time, and was cited by keyboardist Richard Wright and guitarist David Gilmour as their favorite Pink Floyd album. The album reached number one in the US and UK, and Harvest's parent company, EMI, was unable to keep up with the demand. Since then, it's sold in it's Millions throughout the World..

VINYL AUDIO:    :-Perfect Sound Playback,  No distortion, No Jumps, Bright Clear Sound.  

VINYL VISUAL:  NEAR MINT : - . few plays only, If any! this looks near perfect, a couple of brush marks, have a look at the photo's. 

SLEEVE & POSTCARD:   NEAR MINT.  Look at the photo's.....With the all important  "MOON LAKE POSTCARD" Sticker. Earliest version no barcode, which is less common. The wonderfully clean non laminated White jacket is remarkable consider it's age, It has no splits or tears, please look at the photos, I try to give it all, no shelf ware, but still has somehow it has survived without picking damage or Biro, A lot of albums have owners names in biro on them, rare in this condition as they were not cheap at the time at £4+ the average wage being £55 at the time. Most copies were played to death. This Sleeve is in amazing condition.

INNER SLEEVE:  NEAR MINT. Original unique lyric card lyric type, ...Earliest with Rounded Corners & "NO TEAR TROUGH, being the very fragile inner sleeve is a great indicator of the amount of usage the album has had. I would say the inner is amongst the best you could find! and considering how fragile these are.....they are 44 years old, quite unbelievable intact condition.  

LABELS:  Harvest EMI Harvest label, pressed in 1975, Clean, no spindle marks, no damage or writing.    

GRADING SYSTEM: In order to assist everyone who buys and sells rare discs, Record Collector magazine has originated a set of standards for the condition of second-hand records, I have added a (+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. 
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. 
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

PAYMENT:

Items must be payed for within five days. If non payment within five days, I will then instigate an Ebay ruling. I will set up a dispute and either offer it to the runner up bidder or relist.

PACKAGING: 

I use preformed and standard mailers with stiffeners. I always take the vinyl out in its inner sleeve and place on top of the cover. This is then placed into a soft protective sleeve and packaged with stiffeners for full protection.
