First issue.

Released with the cover hidden under black shrink wrap with a round Wish You Were sticker on the outside of the shrink wrap. Spine is narrow (pinched) at the top and bottom and wide in the middle. Issued with lyrics on a die cut inner sleeve and a glossy postcard of a diving man.

VINYL IN  VG+ CONDITION 

Following close inspection of the vinyl - Side One looks in Excellent condition, but on playback there was persistent background clicks & surface noise on Shine On You Crazy Diamond (1-5)    

Side Two  - There are some light  surface marks including a light scratch across the vinyl & light whispy fine hairlines visible - nothing serious - no deep scratches - Have checked vinyl under a bright light

I have cleaned with Okki Nokki record cleaning machine prior to playback on Rega Planar 2 deck.

 There were no skips, jumps, or sticks, but there was  persistent background noise on Side One as per above  - some occasional background surface noise/low level clicks  on Side Two – more noticeable in between tracks & during quiet passages

Sound quality is excellent – no deterioration in sound quality

When the vinyl was played, the background noise did not overwhelm the music, except for at times on Side One - nor ruin the listening experience. .

Record labels are clean and the print is clearly visible. 

No writing on the record label

No sticky residue or discoloration.

Except very light trace of spidermarks & light minor spindle wear.

SLEEVE & INNER SLEEVE IN VG  / VG CONDITION

The sleeve has general storage wear from rubbing etc  i.e the sleeve appears a bit grubby due to staining/scuff marks on the white background with some light creases & wear on the edges.

plus small split on bottom R/H edge  & light record ring wear.

Sleeve inner looks much cleaner and would be in Excellent Condition if only for the 5" split on the lower edge.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

I DO NOT SELL ANY VINYL GRADED LESS THAN VG, UNLESS IT IS ANYTHING THAT IS VERY RARE OR SPECIAL.
