Description

This is the LEGENDARY NIMBUS SUPERCUT UK ISSUE, ORIGINAL COPY of one of only 1000 copies pressed and issued in 1979 through the HI FI MAGAZINE and was only available through mail-order at the time.
NIMBUS SUPERCUT have achieved legendary status with the audiophile community for their amazing mastering which was always done from the original master tapes !!!
This copy is 100% original and has the "NIMBUS ENGLAND" stamped on both run out areas and has the matrix numbers: SHVL 814 A1 and SHVL 814 B1 and other initial details !!!
The VINYL looks like it was only played once or twice, looking at the spindle marks, and only under strong light shows one minor sleeve scuff on one side, there is also the lightest of light wave to the vinyl on my Technics Turntable which does not affect play, I will grade the vinyl as EX++/EX+++ visually and the playback as easily EX+++/ EX++++.
The PICTURE SLEEVE is great apart from the bottom section that has suffered slight water damage (as can be seen in the photos) and I would grade as VG++ with NO TEARS, NO SPLITS, FULLY INTACT SPINE and THE NIMBUS SUPERCUT STICKER !!!
The INNER SLEEVE is in great condition with NO TEARS, NO SPLITS and I would grade as EX/EX+ !!!

I've just been told that the NIMBUS SUPERCUT pressings came out in the early 80's and not 1979, whatever the case, this is the ONE AND ONLY NIMBUS SUPERCUT pressing sold only MAIL-ORDER through the HI FI MAGAZINE !!!
