An incredible Mint / Sealed Original 1975 Pink Floyd, Hipgnosis Wish You Were Here Poster
Number four in a set of 12 Hipgnosis - Pink Floyd Image posters.
This Poster cost $4.00.
It is a high quality print on high quality paper, by Blue Eagle Posters in the Netherlands)
This is a 40 year old poster that has sat in a poster tube, with protected edges, for all 40 years.
It is Mint, rolled and sealed.
36" x 24" (90cm x 60cm)
They are rare in any condition, and I have personally only ever seen five of the actual Twelve posters
The Dark Side of the Moon one has the rainbow of colours actually protrude from the poster, and looks fantastic when framed properly.
I have also seen a Atom Heart Mother one, a Meddle one, and and Animals one.
These were a Hipgnosis released poster, not a Pink Floyd release.
(Hipgnosis is art-house, and would use high quality paper, inks and printing techniques - hence it was printed in the Netherlands).
You can see the paper quality in the pictures, especially the exposed edge along the length of the rolled poster.
This poster is unusual, as it has a Black border, rather than a White one, and has the date and other information printed in white, in the Black area below the image.
The Image is the Iconic ORIGINAL Album cover image, with the burning man tilting his head forward, not with it upright. - Did you realise there is a difference? - it is all to do with copyright and the use of the images that were taken within nanoseconds around the official one... take a look on ebay and you will see a couple of slightly different head and body positions on the posters.
Poster will be sent in a tube with the edges bump protected.
