A complete & original Pink Floyd "Wish You Were Here" 1st UK Press Vinyl LP, SHVL 814 Harvest, 1975, 1G mother/stamper, Factory Sample.
Description:
A fantastic condition original 1975 1st UK pressing of Pink Floyd "Wish You Were Here" with 1st A-1 / B-3 matrices, and 1st Mother 1 / Stamper 1 (1G) to Side 2 and the rare Factory Sample – Not For Sale sticker to the Side 1 label. The first pressing can also be identified by the label credit error to track 1 part 5 to "Waters-Gilmore-Wright" which was soon corrected to "Waters" on subsequent presses. The set also featured a pinched-spine sleeve, cut-corner card inner, heavyweight jagged-edged postcard, and thick black shrink wrap with WYWH sticker on the front.
Matrix: Side 1: SHVL 814 A-1; Side 2: SHVL 814 B-3 Mother/Stamper Codes: Side 2: 1 G (Mother 1 / Stamper 1 – earliest possible pressing)
Label design: Credit error for track 1 part 5 "Waters-Gilmour-Wright" soon corrected to "Waters".
Sleeve: Original ‘pinched spine’ 1st sleeve
Inner: Original cut corner 1st inner
Shrinkwrap: Original thick shrink wrap with title sticker on front.
Condition:
Fantastic condition. Vinyl is glossy and clean with light hairlines marks visible under close inspection. VERY GOOD PLUS! The audio is strong, clear and dynamic throughout, quiet passages such as 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' play beautifully. Some light background surface noise in occasional quieter sections. No pops or clicks, and certainly no skips or sticks at this grade. The audio is graded EXCELLENT! The sleeve is also in VERY GOOD PLUS condition, well preserved with strong structure and no rips or splits. The spine is fully readable. Some light creasing and minor handling wear along with slight age-related discolouration spotting. Complete with original card inner sleeve in NEAR MINT, condition, postcard in NEAR MINT, shrink wrap in fully opened VERY GOOD condition.
