PINK FLOYD WISH YOU WERE HERE
Issue : UK 1st PRESS Label : HARVEST Catalogue No : SHVL 814 Matrix : SHVL 814 A-1 / B-3
This UK 1st press is on the original custom Harvest label. It is complete with the very earliest A-1/B-3 matrix, the earliest serrated edge postcard, the original die-cut 3 corner inner sleeve and the sleeve is still in the original black shrinkwrap. The album also features Roy Harper on 'Have a Cigar' and is both Richard Wright and Dave Gilmours favourite album.
The vinyl is in Very Good condition. It has a sensational high gloss, with a couple of very small marks and a few light wispy hairlines on both sides. The Harvest label is still bold and completely clean. The text is is sharp and there is no spindle wear.
The sound quality is Very Good. This album is always a little noisy and there is faint background noise throughout and a couple of pops but these are momentary and pretty insignificant. The is still excellent audio separation and it is very clear. It still has the original warm, rich 1970's vinyl sound.
The postcard is in Excellent condition. There is the slightest wear to one corner but that is all, it looks superb.
The printer inner sleeve is in Excellent condition. It has a few light finger marks and a little discolouration but is very solid and bright and the edges are firm.
The black plastic covered sleeve is in Excellent condition. The plastic is still sealed at three edges and is very clean and complete with the original sticker. The white card sleeve has a little opening edge wear but from what can be seen it is otherwise perfect.
