Description
This is the 1st press of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here Vinyl LP. It has the A1/B3 matrix variant. As well as being a rare press it also comes with the original 3 corner cut out inner which were issued with this variant, as well as being in the original black shrink with sticker and the 'diving man' postcard. This is the full set.
The vinyl itself I will grade twice. Visually under strong sunlight it is Very Good. There are hairlines and a couple of marks from previous play.
I have play graded the Vinyl as at least Very Good +. There is a series of very light clicks during the mid section on side 1 of 'Shine on you Crazy Diamond' but these are very light and barely noticeable. If you weren't listening for them you wouldn't be able to notice them. The remainder of the LP has light crackle in some of the quieter moments but not at any point does this over power the sound quality.
The outer sleeve is still in the original shrink-wrap and I have not attempted to remove it. The shrink has a neat 3 cm seam split down one edge and where it has been broken there is approx 1 cm of the outer sleeve showing along the top. The handshake sticker is still attached and in nice strong condition. There is a small record shop sticker on the rear which shows the 'SHVL 814'.
The die cut inner sleeve with the 3 cut outs is in Excellent condition.
The glossy 'Diving Man' postcard is also in Excellent Condition.
I grade all of my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.
I always test play my records on a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable with Ortofon cartridge stylus unless they are in near mint/ mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.
All of our Vinyl is professionally cleaned using a Pro-Ject VC-S record cleaning machine.
The vinyl is then packaged in a protective anti static sleeve, the whole album placed into a protective outer plastic sleeve and then posted in a robust top of the range custom cardboard record mailer.
