DUE TO AN EBAY "GLITCH", THIS HAS NOT BEEN AVAILABLE TO OVERSEAS BUYERS. I HAVE NOW AMENDED THE LISTING TO MAKE IT AVAILABLE TO THEM. I HAVE HAD TO END THE ORIGINAL LISTING AND RE-LIST. MY APOLOGIES TO ANY PREVIOUS BIDDERS. STARTING PRICE IS THE SAME AS BEFORE. This is part of a large Pink Floyd collection I have been selling over a few months now. I still have around 100 albums still to list, including many UK 1st pressings of most titles, some multiple times too. Due to the rare and highly collectable items for sale, I have play-graded the vinyl in a comprehensive and accurate fashion. Played through a Linn / Naim / B&W system. I do of course refund in full if the album is of a lesser quality than my grading. No attempts at part refunds please. Been had too many times on that one! PLEASE NOTE:- My gradings are as per Record collector magazine. I NEVER grade an opened album as near mint or mint. A grade of that calibre is highly unlikely for a vinyl of 30, 40 or 50+ years old. I see them listed all the time. Near mint or whatever, then the seller goes on to describe marks, the odd crackle, click or pop. Lets be honest. My top grade for an unsealed vinyl album is excellent plus (Ex+), and if that is the grade you can be sure of a pretty special vinyl! All of my albums come with a brand new heavy duty polythene protective outer cover and a brand new anti-static inner sleeve, all in the asking price. This is the bands iconic 1975 release "Wish you were here", my personal favourite. Full refunds if not as described, as I have already made clear. The cover is still 95% encased in its original black shrink-wrap. Slit at the opening edge only. The leading edge has mild discolouration purely due to being exposed. The rest of the shrink-wrap is tightly fitted and undamaged. I can see nothing that detracts from a grading of at least excellent. The lyric inner sleeve is the most rare variety. The side opening only pops up once in a blue moon. It has no damage. No slits or tears. For total honesty and clarity, there is a very small area of discolouration in one corner. The inner has the correct 3 cropped corners. Nothing else worthy of note. Grades as excellent plus. The vinyl. Well. Visually, stunning. A deep black lustre and not a mark worthy of the word. Sensationally clean. Visually graded as excellent plus. The labels show little to no wear at all. Matrices are the UK earliest. A1 / B3. The mother/ stamper combinations are 1 OG and 4 AL, so a really early first pressing. Referring to my bible (my notebook for play-grading), these are my comments in full:- Sits very flat to the platter. 130gram weight. 2 dust pops during run in to side 1. (I expect these to clean out or play out). Some very light background on the side 1 run out grooves. Side 1 excellent plus. On side 2 during the lead-in to the track "wish you were here", there are 4 very light ticks (not clicks). For an album housed in a horrible cardboard sleeve for years, this has come out almost unscathed. So many WYWH copies have dreadful surface noise issues. Luckily, this one suffers hardly anything at all. Sound is so clear, Very dynamic and detailed. An absolute joy to listen to. I graded side 2 as excellent plus also. An all round excellent plus. The many included extras are all shown in my photos. A brief description of each follows:- The picture disc HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED. It is in a lovely colour cover and the vinyl artwork is fantastic. I know some picture discs can play with some noise, but I am not even going to play it. First play is all yours! The 3 postcards / artwork are all in superb undamaged condition. The one that looks like an old cassette is actually a card which contains a QR code which gives you access to a Pink Floyd download. No idea what the download is! You will need to check that one out. The coaster is brand new and mint. The sticker depicting the iconic label is brand new and mint. The DVD ("The story of wish you were here") is used, but in great condition. So there you have it. First UK pressing. A1 / B3 matrices, in its original shrink-wrap. Very early mothers and stampers. The rarest side opening inner sleeve. A near mint picture disc and much more besides. A package like this will not appear often. Do not miss out. Please no bidders from Russia, Belarus or Ukraine. Any bids will be cancelled.
