For sale here is a super copy of Pink Floyds iconic "WISH YOU WERE HERE" album. Comes with all the attributes of an original and genuine first UK pressing.  
Album cover spine is "pinched" at both ends. Matrices are A1 and B5. Inner sleeve with 3 diagonally cut corners. Postcard of diving man (with serrated edges). Side one credits band members on track 5, not just Waters.

Also included in the sale is a picture disc of the same album. Quite rare in its own right. This has never been played. Plus the iconic handshake "hype" patch, which is lovely condition too. As shown in final photograph.
The cover:                  Original and genuine creamy white colour. This is a lovely example of this often soiled and grubby cover. Almost completely unmarked, the only detriment is a small slit starting to form to the top edge, probably caused by the edge of the disc itself. Very hard to find an example as clean as this one.  Grading is excellent (Ex).

Inner sleeve:                      Really nice example of the cropped corner inner. Impeccably clean with a slit to one edge only. No marks, no creases, no other issues. I grade the inner sleeve as very good plus (VG+).
Postcard:             The postcard of the diving man is in good shape. Has the serrated edges as per first press. It has a crease along its width, nearer to the top edge. Very clean rear. Not a bad example. I grade the postcard as very good (VG).

The labels:                  The labels are extremely clean with no obvious spindle trails. There is a fingerprint to one side (should clean off if it bothers you). No issues at all. I grade the labels as excellent plus Ex+.
The vinyl:                Really the vinyl is the cream of this copy. Visually I can see no marks of note apart from a light non-feelable mark on the run-in deadwax on side one. In good light there is nothing but the odd wispy mark. This is a glorious gleaming vinyl. As a visual grade, I grade as a solid excellent plus.
PLAY-GRADING:-                    The audio on this copy is fantastic. It is extremely close to being without fault. The detail and clarity is outstanding. I truly cannot fault side 2 in any way. It plays in almost complete silence and has to grade my highest grade for a used album, excellent plus. Side 1, on the whole is equally as good. My only note is some very light surface noise right at the start and 4 feint "ticks" at the start of "Welcome to the machine". This is a sensational sounding album and would grace any collection. Due to these extremely minor issues, I grade side one as just excellent. Sound to both sides is detailed, clear and dynamic. A superb listen being an album so prone to surface noise. Very hard to better.
The included picture disc of the album is in superb un-played condition. This has sat in my collection for a couple of years now, and has never been played. Please just bear in mind that, as a rule, picture discs do not play to the same audio quality as vinyl discs, due to the manufacturing process. Grades as excellent plus (Ex+).
I will post overseas, although I have had issues in the past from both Russia and Italy. I have listed the price for UK postage only. If an overseas ebayer wants this, please contact me before bidding to discuss postal options. I would expect postage within Europe to be around £17, tracked and for the rest of the world around £27. I DO NOT make anything on the postage. I charge the exact cost (often less) that I pay. I DO NOT charge for packing materials and I try to use recycled packing anyway. If the postage cost is less than my quoted figures, I will refund the excess as soon as I have the exact price. I also dress all my albums in a brand new heavyweight plastic cover and a brand new anti-static inner sleeve. All vinyl is packed outside of the cover and 2 stiffeners are used in transit. I have sold many valuable vinyls over the years and am often credited with Fort Knox style packing. Please bid with peace of mind that what you see is what you get.
