Description
For sale here is a first UK pressing of their 1975 album "WISH YOU WERE HERE"". This has the very earliest matrix numbers A1 B3. There is nothing pressed earlier than these. Complete with its original black shrink-wrap outer covering which covers about 95% of the outer sleeve. Includes the original postcard with serrated edges, 2 other cards, original tour programme, super poster and a DVD mapping the concept of the album, interviews, songs etc etc. All in all a pretty lovely little collection to own for any Floyd fan.
Part of a huge (over 150 albums) Floyd collection I have been asked to sell. I do not have time to play-grade them all, so the assessment on this is visual. I have been collecting vinyl for over 50 years now, so have a good idea of how an album might sound versus how it looks. Any obvious marks will be noted.

Earliest UK first pressing A1 B3.
The vinyl is gorgeous. A deep black lustre and free from any worrying marks. I have to note a tiny mark, 5mm in length on "Have a cigar", non-feelable and also a 6mm mark near the end of side 1, again non-feelable. Apart from these little marks this is a very clean example of the first pressed vinyl. The cover and inner sleeve are in great shape too. This is a rarely played copy and in a great condition. Comes with its original serrated edged postcard.
The record has been visually appraised, and graded as Ex- (excellent minus). I can see no reason that this will not play to at least Ex- standard, and possibly better than that.
Also included in the sale are quite a host of extras. Some rare, all interesting, but are all related to this superb concept album. These are the included extras, all of which can be seen in my photos.
- The original and genuine 1975 tour programme. This is in a nice original condition with just mild discolouration from age apparent.
- A high quality poster depicting the iconic images of the cover, inner and postcard. This measures 40 x 40 cm (16" x 16" in old money!!) and printed on heavy quality paper. In lovely clean condition.
- A DVD of the album. In great and clean condition.
- 2 postcards and one sticker "Wish you were here" related.
So quite a collection. The album looks like it has been played very little. In great order and with all the extras this needs to go to the home of a true Floyd collector.

All vinyl is posted out in a new anti-static sleeve and heavy duty polythene cover for the outer sleeves. All in the price. Postage is 2nd class signed for. I post very quickly with extremely robust packaging. Please check out my feedback for highly delighted buyers and return buyers. For overses buyers I will use either Ebays "Global Shipping Programme" which takes care of all import/export paperwork and insurance, or by mutual consent, regular Royal Mail postage. I have over 150 Pink Floyd albums from this collection and simply do not have time to play-grade.
