For sale is a super copy of Pink Floyds iconic "Wish you were here" album. This is a genuine first UK pressing and has almost faultless audio, as well as an excellent cover, still in neatly cut shrink-wrap, plus the original postcard. Hard to find a copy seldom played and in this fabulous condition. Also included in this sale is the very hard to find original tour programme (comic style) from the 1975 UK tour.

This comes with all the attributes of a first UK pressing. Cover with pinched spine. Matrices are A1 and B3. Inner sleeve with 3 cropped corners. Original serrated edge postcard..  
I will give a detailed description of each part below.
The cover:                  Original creamy white, still fully encased in the original black shrink-wrap. The shrink has been VERY neatly cut to allow access to the vinyl. Aside of some extremely light wrinkling, this is the neatest shrink-wrap covering I have ever seen. There are no nicks or tears to any edges. Superb in every way.   Grading is a very strong Ex.
Inner sleeve:                      Great example of the original cropped cornered inner. Just like the cover, this is a really clean example. No damage whatsoever. No marks, slits or anything. I grade the inner sleeve as a very strong Ex.
Postcard:               The serrated edge postcard is almost faultless. The only reason I am not grading near mint is due to some mega light creasing that can be seen in angled light. No stains, rips or nicks. I grade this as Ex.
The labels:                  The iconic prism labels are in excellent shape. There are only a couple of light spindle trails to both sides when viewed at an angle in good lighting. This has been carefully and sparingly played. No rips or stains. To be safe because of the spindle marks..... I grade the labels as Ex.
The vinyl:                Really the vinyl surfaces are in a lovely condition. They have retained a fresh pressed appearance with a deep black glossy sheen. Being strictly graded to Record Collector guidelines, I need to mention that both sides show just a couple of very hard to see ultra light hairlines, visible in strong angled light. Side two has a strange mark towards the outside of the disc. It looks like a hair at first glance, but it is a mark. I have tried to show it in one of the photos. These light marks are completely cosmetic, have no depth, just superficial hairlines you get on most vinyl. They have no impact on the audio reproduction at all. As a visual appraisal, I grade as Ex.
PLAY-GRADING:- The audio on this copy is fantastic. It is extremely close to being without fault. The detail and clarity is outstanding. Anyone with some knowledge of Floyd pressings will know very well that this particular title suffered badly with surface noise. Great playing copies are quite hard to source  Side one starts almost silently and carries on in the same vein for the entire side. I commented on playback a tiny hint of background noise on the intro to "Welcome to the machine". Very very minimal and as a grading, I fully endorse a grading of Ex+. Side two plays very much the same way as side one. Superbly. All I detecting on listening was, again, a tiny hint of background noise on the intro to "Wish you were here". Right at the very end of the side, as it plays into the run-off, there are 2 light clicks. Without a seconds doubt I also grade side two as Ex+. Quite a stunning album that looks hardly played and sounds fantastic. I find it hard to believe that any other copies out there could sound any better than this one does. I am not over-hyping just how quietly this plays, or its clarity and detail. A lovely copy all round.
The 1975 UK tour programme is 100% genuine and original. Slight age discolouration and a couple of very small nicks to the front face, bottom edge. Just a really nice piece of Floyd history to keep with the album. Condition grades as VG+.

I have listed the sale for International buyers using Ebays "Global shipping programme". I realise it does not look cheap, but it covers all import duties and gives a buyer total protection against loss or damage. I also dress all my albums in a brand new heavyweight plastic cover and a brand new anti-static inner sleeve. All vinyl is packed outside of the cover and 2 stiffeners are used in transit. I have sold many valuable vinyls over the years and am often credited with Fort Knox style packing.
