Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I have a very large collection of vinyl and I am selling some more so that I can buy some more!? I will always offer either very nice copies of great music or maybe an album in poorer condition if it is particularly rare. I will be selling vinyl on many different labels including:- CHARISMA/B&C, HARVEST, PEGASUS, RCA NEON, ISLAND, DAWN, ETC ETC...

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is --PINK FLOYD--A SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS-- 1968 UK ORIGINAL VERY FIRST MONO PRESSING WITH VERY FIRST PRINTING SLEEVE.

SLEEVE.....NON-GATEFOLD FLIP BACK and FRONT-LAMINATED.This is the very first print of this sleeve, EXCELLENT MINUS condition showing LITTLE WEAR. It is very flat and square.  The colours are very strong and vibrant LIKE NEW. The bottom edge is MINT with NO WEAR. The top edge is also MINT condition. The front is EXCELLENT and only suffers with a very light creasing,  NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKERS, NO LAMINATE LIFT  AND NO STAINING. The rear  is in wonderful EXCELLENT condition with ALMOST NO WEAR just a little creasing to the flip backs and a larger crease to the bottom left corner (please see close-up photo) VERY CLEAN. The opening edges have NO SPLITS and NO TEARS. The spine is very square and all the information is clear and fully readable.  There is wear to the tips of the corners. All in all this is in wonderful condition for a 41 year old sleeve. VERY NICE, EXCELLENT MINUS.

LABELS......This is a genuine first pressing. Both labels are in wonderful condition, beautifully clean with only light spindle marks..EXCELLENT PLUS.

MATRIX NUMBERS......This vinyl is the VERY FIRST PRESSING and this fact is proved by the VERY FIRST matrix numbers.

VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see numerous surface hair lines which are caused by removal and replacement in and out of the inner sleeve, there are 1 or 2 more obvious marks that cause light clicks. In normal daylight this album looks great. Both sides play WITHOUT JUMPS. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, great full sound . There are dust crackles and the odd click or pop that can be heard  in the very quiet parts of the music, there is a scratch on side 2 half way through the 1st track which caused some light clicks. These HEAVY VINYL original pressings are so robust and second to none. This is not a mint copy by any means but any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a really rare and desirable item .  SIDE 1 IS IN VERY GOOD PLUS CONDITION, SIDE 2 IS IN VERY GOOD MINUS CONDITION(DUE TO THE CLICKS)

 THIS ALBUM IS GETTING VERY HARD TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION.

NOT MINT BUT STILL DESIRABLE.

I only use top quality packaging each album is cleaned on a VPI machine, packaged out side of the sleeve/s to prevent seem splits during transport, stiffened with 2 stiffeners, wrapped in bubble wrap, and the posted out in a brand new 'cruciform' mailer.
