Description
This is a 2nd UK EMI 2 box pressing of Pink Floyd's 'A Saucerful of secrets"' which comes with a uk first pressing sleeve with flipbacks.The cover is in EXCELLENT condition. It's a fully intact and very respectable example with just some light laminate creasing to the Garrod & Lofhouse printed sleeve. The flipbacks on the rear cover are intact, "File under popular" is printed on the top of the rear, the spine is intact and readable.The vinyl itself is in EXCELLENT PLUS condition, lovely glossy vinyl with just a few light hairlines visible only under very bright light. There is one more noticeable light mark covering parts of tracks 3&4 on Side 1 but this is totally non-sounding. The playback is very nice too,just a little light crackle occaisonally during the quietest moments and certainly nothing that interferes with the music. I have been a collector for any years and a now selling most of my vinyl to fund a change of career. All records are thoroughly cleaned on my ClearAudio Smart Matrix machine and then carefully played on a Rega Planar 3 deck with Goldring cartridge. I use strict RC gradings with plus and minus to indicate variation and all records are sent out in professional mailers.
