Description


The good news...
Here we have a hugely rare solid blue triangle copy of 'Dark side of the moon'.
The bad news...
This is the copy that went to all the parties. It is well marked and has lost a lot of its sheen. It's certainly seen a lot of life and probably experienced quite a few not very good record decks. The labels show signs of a lot of use too; spindle marks abound. The original dark blue cover is pretty worn as well but still hanging in there.
The posters are long gone but the stickers are present and in pretty good condition.
Now to the playgrading... IT CRACKLES!
The loud bits actually sound pretty good but there is a lot of background noise that comes through the quieter passages. It has a very slight jump about a minute into side 1 and a couple of very slight jumps during "Us and Them'.
I would grade the disc and sleeve as possibly somewhere between Fair and Fair+.

Pretty good so far, you're thinking, why is he bothering to list it?!
Well, I'll tell you. It is, a very rare item and I remember when I discovered it at the local car boot sale I thought I'd found the Holy Grail!
It didn't have to be played, it was enough just to own it.
I have upgraded over the years and now have a dozen copies of DSOTM of varying rarity, including four solid triangles, so it's about time that I shared one of them with the rest of the world.
So here it is. And it's on a silly starting price and no reserve!
