Description

This is a really top copy of the 2nd UK Stereo pressing of Pink Floyd's classic "Piper at the gates of dawn" on the one box black and silver EMI label. This would have been pressed in 1969 and, the vinyl especially, is in absolutely stunning condition. The front laminated Garrod & Lofhouse cover is in EXCELLENT condition, very glossy unspoilt laminate, just a few mild creases and a 2cm split on the top left corner. The back is nice and clean with all flipbacks intact. The spine, which has the correct "pinches" to top and bottom is perfect with title fully readable. The vinyl itself is just stunning, quite flawless, it still looks like a brand new record and has clearly been barely played. It sounds wonderful too barely even the lightest of surface noise, even between tracks, graded MINT MINUS. A really fantastic copy of this becoming scarce 2nd UK pressing. Comes with it's original sepia inner with adverts for other contemporary EMI LP's
