ARTIST: PINK FLOYD

TITLE: SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS

LABEL: COLUMBIA SX 6258

Rare and highly collectible MONO copy of Pink Floyd's 'Saucerful of Secrets' = EXCELLENT + condition. This a genuine first press LP with matrix numbers ending in 1 and 1 and stampers M and P.  The vinyl looks superb with original gloss and has only a very few totally NON-SOUNDING superficial, whispy 'paper-type' marks. The record plays with NO deterioration in sound quality.  The mono sound is really excellent. The labels are clean - 3 small letters in black on side 2 - only visible under light. The cover is nice, flat, clean with only a few laminate 'thumb-type' creases and minimal corner wear. I bought this LP new from Expansion Records in Brighton in 1968 - I have only just noticed that the cover actually has SCX and not SX on it and therefore probably a factory mistake. However this is a superb sounding and looking copy of a psychedelic classic.

GOOD:The record has been played and alot and sound quality has deteriorated noticeably. The cover and contents are damaged.
